I'm more disappointed in this hornets and wizards loss tbh. This game would be easier to stomach losing if we won those two.I'm not sure I could sit down with low expectations for the game and still feel disappointed. But it's not over!

God help us please
****It’s a good sign we are competitive without Sabonis but we could have won this and let it slip. I’ll point to the second chance points earlier in the quarter as the culprit. We could have had a lead and a decent cushion. Then Denver got hot from 3. It’s that simple
Maybe Sabonis will play and the plan was to rest him tonight. Either way, we know we can beat this team. No need for them to hang their heads down and just accept defeat tomorrowFeels like if we were gonna steal a game from the Nuggets it'd be this one. Tomorrow's night game against them won't be any easier.
unless 2k gives me another free year next year I think I'll just stick with watching on the NBC sports app when my free sub is up. There's definitely some benefit if I can't catch the game in watching the replays without all comcasts bullcrap but the stream quality was not up to snuff. stuttered for the first 5 minutes and cut out twice.Every blessed game, my League Pass cuts out in the fourth quarter. Tonight, I could not get the stream back at all, and had follow the last eight minutes via play-by-play. Very poor quality control.

Malone is certainly a more experienced coach, but with Vivek in the building I bet he was also extra motivated… ;-)2018-2019. Things can turn around in a hurry, when some adjustments need to be made, and they aren't. It follows you.
Did anyone else notice how bad Fox’s defense was in the 4th? He just can’t keep guys in front of him it seems like.
He got beat a few times but he was the only one pressing on some sets. His offensive choices were horrid down the stretch. That turnover with Lyles up at the top of the 3 and not calling for screen and roll was a total boner move. Very rare for him.
Not sure if it's been discussed, but for last several games (probably longer), the opposing wings have been killing us. Here are some of the stats
Raptors (12/14):
S. Barnes: 10/16 for 27 pts
VanVleet: 13/25 for 39 pts
Pistons(12/16): No significant scorer
Hornets(12/19):
G Hayward: 8/12 for 19 pts
K Oubre Jr: 12/25 for 31 pts
Lakers(12/21):
Bron: 11/21 for 31 pts
Wizards(12/23):
Kuzma: 14/23 for 32 pts
Beal: 10/16 for 24 pts
Nuggets(12/27):
MPJ: 12/20 for 30 pts
One expects players like Bron to get theirs, but if all opposing wings are consistently having high scoring games against us (both in terms of volume and efficiency), it certainly shows our defense is poor. Whether it's on coaches, or individual players, don't know, but certainly something that needs focus.
Also wonder if giving some extended minutes to KZ is an idea that should be revisited. If the opposing wings are on a tear, having a defensive minded player for stretches might make sense. I understand the experiment didn't quite work out at the beginning, but both KZ and the team should have had a better understanding now.

you could also make an argument those are just some of the opposing teams best players.
