They keep showing the tech replay. That is disgusting. And you know what will happen to the ref for blowing that one? absolutely nothing. These NBA refs are a joke.

We need a closer with a jumper. Kobe, Pierce, Lebron, Dirk, Durant ... they all close out games with jumpers because you can never expect fouls late in the game, and a clean look at a jumpshot is a million times easier to get than a clean look at a layup.

Oh absolutely. ( but you can break out the Kobe airball 3 playoff video if you want!! ) ... Will Evans get it? Maybe. I sure hope so, but I do have some doubt. Time will tell.

That was on the coach i think... i dont think Westphal told them what to do in case we missed the shot, so none of them fouled until it was way to late.

the point is still valid tho. look at most of the game winning shots. most of the are jumpshots. rarely does driving for a layup work cuz the refs dont call the contact. also pumpfaking to draw the foul doesnt work either, just ask kevin martin

You missed the point.. that should've benefited the Kings had they called the 8 second violation. Kings would've got the ball back down 2 with about 5 seconds left.

This is a complete SHAM of a league.
The Kings organization had better step up and protest the absurd treatment that DMC is getting by the refs - this has passed beyond ridiculous, beyond ludicrous - this is a full-tilt conspiracy going on against him right now, and this 4th qtr is Exhibit A.

I like this idea.
DMC was whiny as all get out when he first came into the league, but he has put in A LOT of work, and has been a lot better lately. Is he getting rewarded by the refs? Nope, he's getting tossed for no reason when the game is on the line. He RARELY has calls go his way, but tonight was a whole 'nother level of BS.
Westphal, the Maloofs, Petrie...Someone should speak up in DMCs defense. At the very least it will show him that the org has his back.

All of those players had better jumpshots compared to Evans, even Wade. And all of those players improved. Evans has not over his rookie season. He still can't grasp the concept of a mid range shot or the simple pull-up, something those players all use to great effect. This isn't rocket science, it's basketball, and if Evans wants to be put up in that category, he needs to start improving his game and making better decisions, because he won't ever get anywhere by having tunnel vision to the rim.
