[Game] Kings vs Hornets (Vegas Summer League) Monday, August 9, 3 PM PT (6 PM ET), NBATV

Queta has a lot of work to do. I’m glad he gets to start in the Gleague. His rebound positioning is next level bad and he is sushi raw. Still like his potential long term though.

yeah he needs polishing but you can tell once his fundamentals are better he can play in the pros

You can see the basic beginning of something with Davion on the point of attack and Metu and Queta challenging everything in the paint. When one of them are out though, things look ugly.

You have to feel for them a little. How else can they stand out? Right now they are looking to impress Euro scouts. But man, some of them are doing pretty poorly out there.
Terry plays within himself and Coleman occasionally doesn't look terrible but yeah the other random guys seem to be out there purely because Davion and the actual roster guys can't play all 40 minutes.

Terry is good. He should on a squad. These other guys are truly random combo G's in a league where size rules right now.

The best thing so far for Davion Mitchell, judging solely on the Summer League is that, he knows where to be on the court both offensively and defensively; and that most rookies catch the ball AND THEN think about what to do, versus Mitchell is usually decisive enough to make a move as he catches and more often than not he made the right decision.

Those are things you can kind of predict from the Summer League better than any other skill-based things.
