Is it concerning that Woodard has looked so bad? Yes.

But literally every other young King actually on the roster looks really good.

with the way Cookies plays so disruptively, I don't see how that energy and mindset doesn't translate over to at least some of his teammates. The points are nice and all but it's the assists and changing the pace of the game that makes him so fun to watch

They better play this style though. They switched over the help system for a bit in this one and it was just as bad as last year. The Kings have solid individual defenders up and down the roster so there is no excuse to not use them.

correct. it's as simple as players buying in. sacrificing some offense and clamping down on the other end to make things miserable for teams instead.
 
I’ve watched this guy play throughout college he doesn’t suck. We need to get a good mentor for him.
We still need to see that little pick and pop potential he's got. The biggest issue is whether or not he's going to get the Hibbert treatment from teams. Just waiting for him to sag off pick and roll time and time again. If he can get some offensive skills or moves going like a mid range jumper his chances go up dramatically as far as sticking in the NBA.
