Long time Lurker here at KingsFans and Lifetime Kings Fan. Grew up in Stockton in the 80s so lived thru the bad teams of the 80-90s to the first playoffs i watched in 96. Even cried after the 2002 WCF Game 7 loss. Just wanted to say after 16 years of being asked WHY the Sacramento Kings was my team (Living in Florida now), that I’m proud to be a fan of this TEAM. Yes they are playing as a team and it’s great to look forward to each game again. Let’s hope we have a great homestand and don’t take these teams lightly ( Charlotte, Fakers, Wizards). Take care of the lesser teams and climb up the standings!!!!

Glad I don't live close to downtown since I usually DVR the games and watch them later. The beam spoiler would drive me nuts.
Does someone on this board know a close connection with the Kings who can talk them into installing a special camera so they can send live feeds to @ESP47 of the beam being lit after every Kings win??? :p:p:p

In all seriousness, though, if I were like you, I'd go nuts as well. BUT, when I used to be able to record Kings games, I didn't mind at all knowing what the final score was. I still enjoyed watching it later as much as I would if I actually made it a point to not engage in "scoreboard watching" if I couldn't watch a game live. For me, one of my favorite things about watching any sports game is not to necessarily find out which team won, and which team lost, but to rather listen to the commentators provide their play-by-play and analysis of the game, and the team in general. I found more value in watching a recorded game for stuff like that as opposed to what the score was when the final buzzer sounded, and which team added to their win total, and which added to their loss total.

If I were close to the arena, and I saw the beam without watching the game in the first place, I'd be way more excited to go back and watch it than I would if I looked out and didn't see the beam. Actually, the lack of presence of the beam would probably annoy the crap out of me, and I'd also most likely be frustrated as heck while watching the game.

Rozier is expected to miss this one, plus other main guys played 35+ yesterday. If Kings don't let them hang around for too long(let's say +12 or more by mid 3rd quarter) Hornets might fold. Especially considering the pace Kings want to play at home

We SHOULD be able to win this game. I won't say that we WILL win this game, though. Because we SHOULD have been able to win many games in seasons past. But we didn't. Nothing is guaranteed in our world. Not until that final buzzer sounds off at the end of the 4th quarter. Even if we're up by 50 points with 0.01 seconds left on the game clock. Because, you know, the NBA might just decide on the fly that if the Charlotte Hornets get a fluke basket, might as well give the Kings the L...:p:p:p

So far this season the Kings have been outstanding defeating the lesser teams. Keep it up. Hopefully, there will be no "first home game after a long road trip" jinx on this one.

The Kings are Hornets are pretty evenly matched. They are better than their record would indicate especially with so many injuries. I wouldn't be surprised at all if this game was competitive where they could end up beating us. Most of their starters are healthy now so there is that. Kings must not be complacent.
