edit: which should be a new low...well, by 'New' Arco standards...so technically if there's any more than 10,333(old Arco capacity) there, then it wont break any records.
But anyways, it's kind of funny that these 2 will be playing on Super Bowl Sunday. Whichever team can focus on the game at hand and not "THEE GAME" should win. lol.
As far as I know, they've always scheduled NBA games on SuperBowl Sunday.
I don't think it's going to have a direct affect on attendance, especially since it's the Cardinals v. Steelers.
There may be tons of reasons why people don't bother to attend the Kings-Thunder game, but I strongly suspect the Superbowl isn't really a major consideration.
Over the last four years there have been 2, 3, 3, and 4 NBA games scheduled on Superbowl Sunday (including a Kings-Jazz game in Arco in 2006). I didn't check back any further but for at least the recent past there have always been a few games scheduled.

Since 2001, I really haven't bother to find out if an NBA game was on the same day as the Superbowl considering my favorite football team, New England Patriots has occupied that day.
At least under a certain former coach there was some class and he did have respect and attention from officials when needed. Kenny Nothing seems hardly noticed by anyone - fans, or officials. Certainly there are no more groupies and assorted Reggienistas at the games - home or road. Attendance suffers from a multitude of factors. With otherwise depressed surroundings, I was always a little interested to see which Armani or Brioni $3,000-$5000 suit Reg would pull out of the closet each night, with $250 silk ties and cuff links to make Pat Riley proud. Now, for the lowly Kings, fans and road spectators, it's which two for one Men's Wearhouse suit will be glaring back
