Strangely enough, the team playing better defense doesn't appear to be trying to push the pace all that much.

He was running out for the transition basket, unfortunately if you don't play defense, you don't get transition hoops.

I think it's already proven that we're not going to beat the Spurs slowing it down. How did dumping it down to Cousins in the post go for us eh? I interpreted his comments more as whoever gets to play at their pace. Spurs want to play slow. They want to kill you in a halfcourt game. A fast pace may not be a viable strategy overall but against this particular team in this game I dare say it's our best shot.

Because when everyone else misses shots, like Curry and Casspi, they are taken out immediately. When Marco can't hit a goddamn shot, he stays in until the game is over.
