I understand the significants of the FFA program (as i've lived in this area for 36 year; four of which as a member of the FFA) the point was regarding the steps they (the magoof family) were taking to play into the "cowtown" stereotype, in order to further their agenda. Really "milk the cow" contest at the 1st quarter beak: thats a slap in our faces', not a tribute to the FFA!!! The steps they've taken to ruin the image if this market never seizes to amaze me! I'm hoping that wasn't the last Kings game I spend with my family!!!

I think you're trying to find insult where none was intended or even thought of. The Maloofs haven't had much to do with the marketing for about two years. The league brought in people when the Anaheim deal was turned down and they, in turn, built a pretty good marketing team. I actually know a couple of the people who have worked on some of these theme nights - they're not trying to insult us or our community.
