Tonight we saw what Barnes can do for you! Excellent play calls at the end of this one. Use Bjelica as the spreader and force the Nuggets to double Barnes, if they don't, you pay.

I like this one mostly because the Kings made it their business. They finally went to the well and didn't stop until it ran dry.

Should also be noted that Buddy hitting that desperation 3 in crunch time completely changed how Denver played defense both in the closing possessions of regulation and overtime as well

Only relative to his likely role. He's a two way player that won't wow you, but he can carry you for stretches. Oh man, with Fox and Bagley back this is an interesting toy chest for Walton and his staff to play with.

The Nuggets really thought they could fool JJ. Did you see Holmes rush out and congratulate him at the buzzer? Not a rookie move by any means. JJ stuck with his man and ruined the Nuggets day.

That's a dodge. Barnes is NOT overpaid. He's earning every penny out there.

relative to his likely role in 2010 dollars. as the price for talent continues to rise, I don't believe it will look like we are overpaying Barnes in a year or two (maybe China impact on the cap changes things). But a solid big league every day starting 3 just costs this much imo.
