I saw alot of subtle competition amongst Teamamtes Peja scores 10 points in 2 minutes and then doesn't touch the ball down the stretch of the Game.I saw him on a few plays wide open no looks towards his way,Just look at what the hornets did Baron davis gets hot they keep milking him when he was hot drawing double teams etc.The kings quit giving peja the ball when he got hot,and then when he does get the rock His rythym is off.Webber seem like if he didn't have a good game statistical wise he wasn't going to be bothered doing the little things.BAD LOSS

Evans had a good game, but he also made some key rookie mistakes. WHERE WAS DOUG?????????? He may not have been doing much on offense, but he had 8 ASSISTS and was doing better defensively than Evans.

I'm not going to lose sleep over this game, but I would have much preferred to see DC out there at the end.

I commented in the chat room and many people did not want to hear it.

1st....everyone is sooooo upset....OMG it is so embarrasing to lose to a team with only 2 wins.

My response to that: 1. that record was compiled without their best player (who had a triple double tonight-BTW). 2. They have been playing very well of late...in many cases losing by less than 5 pts. 3. they were primed to win...and way overdue. 4. For crying out loud, they scored 39 pts on 3 pt attempts (50% from beyond the arc). How many teams could have withstood such on onslaught? The Kings were lucky to have sent it to OT. 5. The Kings had the misfortune of playing this team (considering all the above) on their 4th game in 5 nights while flying to 4 different cities. The thought of the jet lag from that many take-offs and landing makes my head hurt.

Now, are these all excuses or reasons that the Kings lost tonight? Huh! It is just semantics. It does not matter. The Kings got beat by a team that was so pumped up at the thought of getting their 3rd win against a top tier team that it does not matter. The New Orleans Hornets beat the Sacramento Kings. Is their shame in that? Only if you expect to win all 82 games. And, we all know that is not going to happen.

That's exactly what I was thinking; why exactly was he taken out of the game? On the bright side, at least Brad took more shots tonight than he has recently.

I agree with this post.

In spite of everything else, they still had their chance to win. If they didn't realize before that they have to defend the 3pt line, maybe tonight will be their night. All in all, it's not the end of the world, and there are other games to look forward to.

Well, I had the Hornet feed on my LP. It looked like the guy fell right on Doug's legs. Anyway, Doug was extremely slow in getting up. So, my guess is that Doug was hurting and RA chose to keep him on the bench.

I thnk Adleman is trying to give DC's foot as much rest as possible, and at the verry least try not to agravate the injury. given the fact that this was day 5 on the road and the 4th game the stress on the foot has to be bad... And I think Adelman is going with Mo as long as Mo is hot, like running on a winnig streak. So kiving him lots of DC's time right now kills 2 birds with one stone.

I had forgotten about that, but I bet you're right. I saw it at the time but quickly forgot about it in the heat of the game. That, at least, makes sense. I cannot imagine any other reason for RA not to put DC in for the critical defensive presence we needed at the end. That's just not how RA coaches games and I can't see him changing at this point.

If you ask me last night seeing the movement of the kings and the actions they are all just absolutely wore out. We went 20 days with only 6 games and all of a sudden we go 4 games in 5 days. I imagine that Defense is the first to go. Give them a few days off and some home cooking and they will be fine. Now since this stretch is behind us maybe we will be more conditioned for the next trip.

I didn't hear (since I don't have Comcast so I listen to it on the radio) this game last night because I was at my niece's birthday party. But from reading the PBP, it looks like Hornets shot the ball very well from downtown. Plus, it's the 4th game in 5 nights for the Kings and the Kings from what I remember usually don't play well in the 4th game. I'm glad they had a chance to win though.
