It was said when his struggles first began that he has a foot problem. He hasn’t missed any games since but his long distance struggles continue, plus he all of a sudden can’t get by defenders

Whats happening here tho is Miami is playing good defense early in the shotclock (sans when Fox has the ball..) and they have an extremely strong frontcourt with players like Winslow, Whiteside and James Johnson who's also way, way heavier than Willie...

All things considered tho the Kings are right in striking distance...

The Heat luckily are missing a fair amount of jumpshots. Kings are getting beat on cuts too much. There is little to no weak-side help.

I think we are also hunting to figure out how to play with Barnes and Burks. Hopefully they settle down as we go here. Miami defense is probably not ideal for the first game post trade deadline.
