I really like him as a player though. He gets a lot of heat for his shooting, but he's pretty good on D and has nice court awareness.

This is on Karl... This is the worst defense i've ever seen from a Kings team and as we all know there were some terrible defensive teams in the last 10 years....this switching business is so poorly executed...so many times opponents just get wide open 3's without even having to work for it... just send a big to screen and its a open 3!
I think Vlade should be able to hire his own coach. Karl is done... I admit I was wrong about Karl... just look at how Karl handled WCS .... he was forced to play him and he GOES OFF.... i swear if it was up to Karl he would still love to hardly play WCS but Karl knows he can't now....

I have a feeling that the most exciting thing about the end of this season ... won't be the playoffs ... it will be hiring a new coach

I'm as big a fan as WCS as anyone, but he has to stop missing little bunny shots. We're probably dropping 4 ppg on those alone.

I suspect it is like Jerry Rice in his rookie year. (Pardon the comparison) Rice dropped a lot of passes. I attribute it with 20-20 hindsight to rookie jitters. Certainly a 7 footer should be able to make a 1 ft shot. I hope it's just jitters. Bajaden would be able to give the best opinion. I don't think jerking him for every screw up is going to help anything except make him more nervous about missing.
So he gets jerked for bobbling a ball.

I am a Cole Aldrich fan.
I think Vlade got him because he came cheap and was a Euro. Not exactly sure what Vlade was to do when thrown to the wolves. Vlade got who he could get.
