I love Boogie but he has kind of hurt us during this losing streak. And we had the big run vs. Memphis without him for part of the time. No excuses tonight.
A bit off topic, but responding to the George Karl comments in the Memphis game thread.
I too am getting tired of Karl. With that said I completely respect his past. I think everyone here agrees that he "was" a fantastic coach. You don't win as many games as he won without being a fantastic coach. That's a no-brainer, but I don't think he has the decision making skills that he use to have. He's definitely lost his edge as a coach and it's showing.
I feel like this is a must win if they want to turn this around. A loss tonight completely eliminates the five game win streak. Portland and Utah have been taking care of business and New Orleans is right breathing down our necks. Something tells me tonight will get really bad though.
Kings 1.5 point favorites, Vegas knows something I dont. Bucks shoot poorly and don't score much, so maybe the Kings have a chance tonight. I like Middleton, he has a good chance at a nice game tonight.
Rudy needs big game (36 last game in Milwaukee), Omri need to score a ton. Who else? Who knows... I love watching Giannis Antetokounmpo one of my top 5 NBA fave players to watch not on Sac roster. Hopefully the Greek doesn't get too freaky tonight against Kings.
You may very well be right. I think the fact that we seem almost totally dependent on whether Boogie has a great game. We have other players who can score. We have other players who can play defense. Vlade upgraded this team by quite a bit yet it all still falls on Boogie. We just got beaten by the Pelicans who were missing a lot of very good players. Why is that? Something is very, very wrong and I don't think the problem is Boogie. It's more than likely Karl and this focus on Boogie I think is unfair.
