He had one good shot, was wide open for another one but didn't get a chance because he became invisible to IT.

I think IT is still the better guy to have out there, but he needs to be passing after he draws the attention. No one is going to double Vasquez, Jimmer, Ben, or JT. No one is going to draw much help defense. IT can attack and draw that attention... but then he has to kick it out.

The spacing on the floor with Ben, and Jimmer has caused some decent driving lanes for IT. If he could drive, jumpstop and hit the open wing Ben or Jimmer would have so many open 3s, but thats just my opinion

Well if you are saying that GV does not have much to offer if DMC is not in, and that you prefer IT offensive punch, that means, that as soon as DMC is out then IT will be taking most of the shots. That is exactly last years style
