Its been a long time (ever?) since the Kings have had a player to campaign for an award, and especially one who's worth of it :)

I like it. Facebooked, Tweeted, Mixxed, Google Buzzed and pretty much did everything else you can do online with that. Hope he wins the hardware.
 
two horse race id say with between reke and curry whose been droping some sick lines lately picking up in consistency
 
I think voters have to take into consideration that not only is Tyreke averaging a 20/5/5, but he also is playing superb defense. Curry plays no defense to speak of. Tyreke is a better all around player and should get the ROY. If he doesn't get it, it will be a big city small city bias. I think the way he played against the Jazz is the kind of thing voters remember when they vote for ROY. Scoring and playing well to make a difference for his club. A lot of Curry's lines are inflated because the numbers come in garbage time because the W's are out of a lot of games early. I think the voters have already decided one way or the other, and unless Tyreke or Curry gets injured, the voting looks to be leaning toward Tyreke. He has more game winners and has less help than any of the other rookies. Tyreke literally is carrying the Kings on his back. Curry has help in Monta and Cory Maggette when healthy. Who does Tyreke have? That alone should push Tyreke over the top. Also the fact that Tyreke has been double teamed since DAY ONE in the NBA. He has never seen one on one defense. That speaks volumes about what the other teams in the league think of Tyreke. If he is unguardable one on one, then he must be a pretty good player.

I don't think we should put Tyreke in the HOF just yet, but I think the Kings have a player to build around. If we can draft a legitimate post player, the Kings will be a very exciting team next year. The Kings have a lot of pieces, and the one area they are really lacking is in the post. Either through free agency or the draft, the Kings need to get better at center and power forward to win more games. Especially defensively at center, where the Kings are the softest team in the league.

If Reke continues to put up 20/5/5 for the rest of the season he will win this thing in a landslide!

Things would have to go DRASTICALLY wrong for Reke not to be a ROY.
 
I love the way Tyreke plays, but jesus that guy seems like he's always half asleep when he talks lol..

Darren Collison and Jonas Jerebko got rookies of the month for Feb.

This is good news for tyreke cuz Steph Curry seemed to be gaining a little bit of ground this month. And if steph got this months award he would of tied Reke 2-2for ROM awards.

TOTALLY agree. At some point they are going to have to give him some coaching in basic media communication...I'm really surprised no one's already done this. The video was killer until the fizzle at the very end. He's way too good to be mumbling his way through life.

The Kings are really having fun with this.

Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson is holding a press conference right now to officially announce his "endorsement" of Tyreke for ROY. lol :D

Well it's a godo thing they are going all out. It's not every season that you have a potential Rookie of the Year candidate on your team.

The only thing now is, if he doesn't with for some reason....wow.....that would really suck.

Its not up to the NBA -- its up to media members. Which is far more dangerous -- half of them are ignorant and voting purely off hype. That's why things like this campaign are actually important. If everyone knew what they were talking about and watched all the games it wouldn't even be necessary.

Still think Reke pretty much just has to stay Reke. Stay healthy, keep on relentlessly attacking, and there is nobody who can catch him. In fact very few rookies in the last 10 years who could catch him given the lead he's built up
