[News] Kings trade Jonas to Denver for Saric

Yeah, I guess this issue is what are we doing? I'd love to give Reynaud minutes year 1, but JV absolutely helps you win more games, now. Everything we've been linked to this off-season indicates we're trying to win games.

Whatever this "hidden" move is, it better indicate a direction. Because everything shown so far does not indicate one.
I think I'm in the minority but I want Kuminga (assuming it doesn't cost us Keon).
My ideal scenario is Monk to Detroit for Schroder + Assets
Open up a Monk sized TPE that we use to take Kuminga. Give GS a 2nd and a large TPE for assisting us.
All the talk about pg, and we still only have 1 forward on the roster.

If they're going to rebuild, then rebuild. Get rid of most the veterans, let the young guys get minutes, get a high lottery pick and start rebuilding.

It's going to be really irritating if they plan on rebuilding with the same strategy they used during the Cousins years. You aren't going to turn the franchise around by constantly picking 8-10th in the draft.

Me too... I say take a swing

It’s honestly kind of comical watching Kings fans go through the same cycle of Stockholm syndrome year after year.

Not every foster family that takes you in is going to lock you in a room and chain you up.

Just 5 months ago you guys are cheering for a great pick up with 2 2nd round picks, now he is a 33 year old backup center with no athleticism which no one will give up assets for? Pick a side ffs.

They just co-sign what management does no matter what it is it’s hilarious just like they said Derozan was a good pick up when we were laughed at by anyone who’s watched an ounce of ball. Now they think a second round pick and the 24th pick are saviors like this if the nfl or something

Couldn't the Kings get better deal with Jonas? I mean the Warriors might be interested in a big man since they lost Looney and we could have used Jonas + others for Kuminga?

This might be a sign that Jonas was one of the only ones with value. Look at MPJ, the Nuggets had to give a 1st rounder to cut some salary can take back a player around the same level as him.

This could hurt the Kings. The Nuggets have gotten better with this trade and Jokic and Jonas are going to make Domas regret begging for his "PG". lol.

This feels like a move to clear up some money and hopefully give Jones and Raynaud playing time to develop. And yes, that feels like rebuilding but maybe the smart way trying to homegrown talent as much as possible so that you have cash available for a big move. With so many teams against the tax wall cash may be King.
