[Game] Kings @ Timberwolves - Monday, Dec. 17 - 5PT/8ET

MEMO TO TIMBERWOLVES FANS:

When you're chanting MVP while your starters are playing against the bottom of the roster of your opponent, you might want to rethink your reasoning.

They were chanting MVP to Okage (sp) I believe. They’re allowed to have goofy fun in a blowout.

I have seen enough to understand why Skal is generally nailed to the end of the bench. He's showing minimal effort at a time when he should really be trying to prove he can have some worth.

Oh good. It's Benny-Mac time.

Alright I'm officially over it. Scheduled loss.

We don't have more than one day off a week prior or a week after this particular back to back. Think about it. Our schedule before this run here had multiple multi day breaks. That was a good thing. I'm fine with our main guys getting a rest here with OKC around the corner and no let up in scheduling after that. Perfect game for the b team to get some burn.

I feel like Joerger is making this a statement game. I'm just not quite sure the statement. Weirdly, I think I like the statement though.

*It's like a very very very subtle **** you to his players..... WHO ARE THE ONES TO BLAME FOR THIS LOSS."

Honestly it's a pretty boss ass coach move.

I know this will be a trigger to some but did the team tune him out after the whole comment thing from yesterday?

I think at this point, skal is at best a young big with “potential” that we can throw into a trade with our enders.

Turn out the lights the party’s over!

Well glad I would not have to watch this one because I won’t get home for another hour.

Have to say I’m personally disappointed in Giles/Skal’s progression from summer. Skal really grew a body, and I thought he was coming. Giles has just had a rough start

OMFG. Read the thread about his comment today. OR continue to make totally unsubstantiated comments. Your choice. It's not a trigger, by the way. It's a reaction to a ridiculous comment.

Do what? You want him to put the starters back out there and risk injury in a game like this?

Probably not now, but they weren't down 50, or even 30 at that point. Usually, even Joerger gives it another shot. Actually this is about as un-Joerger as you can get. He's the coach that will stick with a failing unit after a time out and give them a few more plays to work it out.
