OK guys, this is still as *** backwards as ever. This team should use a style that HELPS Evans/Cousins, and rotations to facilitate that. This ain't it. Just watch the defense people, Roy was near the charge circle leaving Johnson on the perimeter, Rekes man was doing the same. If you want IT to be the PG and Cousins to be an inside player then personnel changes need to be made, starting with Tyreke Evans. Now, the "SMART" thing would be to find a way to make life easier for Evans and in doing so it would be the same for Cousins.

I can't see how any team in the league doesn't defend the Kings this way. Cousins is a good mid-range player but he has to lane to drive right now. Same with Tyreke.

IT can't penetrate and create for others against a stacked defense. Reke can. We're hurting ourselves by keeping Reke off the ball and IT on it. You need a guy who can attack and make the defense shift. Reke is the only guy who can do that, yet he's waiting for kickouts.

Boils down to coaching. But this up and down, every one should shoot when they get a window is killing us on both ends.

Yup. And who's job is it to yell at the team for not getting the ball to Thornton? But no, that's not going to happen, because we don't have stars on this team. Jimmer Fredette deserves just as many touches as Cuz, if not more because he's a shooter.

If we want to see Thornton taking shots then we need to get him open, absolutely no creativity in this offense it's just one pass and shot.

The entire basis of this offense right now is to get into the paint. I said it last game, when you can't spread the floor the two positions that will suffer most are PG and C. Since both positions involve breaking into the interior paint area. Cousins is strange in the sense that he's more comfortable driving, but the end result is the same, no room to work.
