Sure. But even at his best, De'Aaron against the world isn't gonna get it done for this team.
Presumably, at full strength, it wouldn't be Fox against the world. The single biggest ripple effect of Fox's slump has been that it puts too much pressure on Mitchell to score, which is not the optimal use of Mitchell, at this stage of his career.

Because Fox needs the ball, which freezes out other players because he's not a distributor/playmaker.

The draw and kick they run out of middle pick and roll gets more easy looks off of 1 or 2 passes than this team could ever hope for. Now, them trying to run a "team" offense off of motion sets, baseline pin downs, etc. is stupid. Not the players fault because they can't run it.

Buddy and Barnes just sorta wandering around the floor with their heads down while Fox carves up the Spurs by himself is something. I don't know if its them just having bad nights or then not wanting to play a more traditional one-player dominated system but it's just bad.

It's not the system. They gave up before the game even started tonight. Holmes is obviously PO'd at something, maybe his reduced playing time. Something is very wrong emotionally with this team and it happened very quickly. Is it coincidental that Bagley refused to play in the last game? I just don't know.

If Barnes is done for the night, it'll be his first game this season without double figures; only his second game with fewer than fifteen.

Don't get what changed. No, the first 11 games weren't perfect, but we at least saw consistent effort to try and play defense for a good majority of it. Tonight has just been a crap-show continuation from the SUns game.

Well Barnes stopped carrying them and specifically, in the last 2 games we saw a total return to you know what, run by you know who and more sag defense and drop coverage. Now they are back to helping off the corners and Pop being the great coach he is says thank you, may I have another. And another. And another.

Kings give up 30+ in all 4 quarters.

Definitely the most discouraging game of the season. First blowout loss.

OKC and Detroit up next.

I can't believe just over 10 games in and we're right back at this point. I forgot this game was on, checked the score in the first half and had no interest in watching. In a good season this feeling doesn't start until after the all star break... lol

so could these games be the players sending a message to Luke? I didn't watch this game, but just by reading the posts with the players not really showing much desire to play it leaves me asking questions especially after Marvins refusal to enter the game
