Greetings, fellow Kings fans!

More to come later but I just wanted to start this to remind people that the game is at 6 p.m. on News10 AND there's still a free preview of League Pass. Check your satellite or cable channels for more information but if you're outside the Kings broadcast area you should be able to see tonight's game.

Greetings again!

We've had some torrential rains all day, which is a mixed blessing. It's pretty much washed away all the snow on the ground but it's getting colder and if the rain continues we could easily have a foot or so of the stuff again by morning. While that causes temporary headaches and inconveniences, it certainly helps our water table.

No House Party Live tonight as the game is being broadcast on News10.

In a recent article, Reggie Theus was quoted as saying he'd given the team some more freedom in how they play but that "with greater freedom comes greater responsibility." He then went on to talk about his disappointment with the number of early jump shots taken the past couple of games. I strongly suspect we're going to see more control and less emphasis on the outside game tonight - which will please me greatly. It makes me cringe when the Kings start out just heaving bricks in the general direction of the backboard.

The Kings have already played the Sonics twice (the first game of pre-season and on Nov. 6) and won both times. It would be nice if they could continue the trend...

It will be very interesting to see if Artest continues his little game with the home town fans. I'll be pretty surprised if he does and predict that such action will NOT be well received by Theus. Time will tell.
