Grant: Was it just another game?
It had some sentimental value. You always want to do well against a team that's traded you. I just wanted things to come to me and play off them. (He has a HUGE GRIN on his face...)
Kenny had a great time. He played the 4 but he can play the 3. He's very versatile.
Grant: The crowd was really buzzing for this.
They knew it was going to be emotional with Chris coming back. The fans love him. They are very passionate about him. It was good. The fans here are very special.
Grant: Any hard feelings about Philly?
Both times I've just tried to learn to be a better player. I've always tried to stay focused and be ready to play. I've proved the 76er organization wrong in that I've shown I can play and play productive minutes.
Grant: On the road?
We have to be consistent. We can't let teams make big runs. We're starting to play better defensively. We have a lot of weapons. We just have to be more consistent.

My personal feeling is Cat's stock just went way up and if I was a betting person, I'd say he's gonna stick around.

Good win for us. With AI and Chris on the team, they're a dangerous team.
Cat played extremely well. All our starters did well. Bibby finally got it started in the 4th. This was a big win before the road.
I told the team this morning that it's all about how we play. It's not about the trade. We need the win. After 7 years, I think I know what Chris is gonna do and where he's gonna be but with Iverson, he's tough.

Barnes; This is my home. I'm building a house here.

Barnes: I sure hope so.
Koz: This guy did a lot for the Kings. That's why he's known as SacTown's Finest.
They're sahying Webber will be out in a couple of minutes.
Tank: You know you want to be back here. We want you back.
Barnes: You're trying to get me in trouble.
Tank: How manhy people you have here?
Barnes: About 27. I want to thank Bobby, Brad and Mike because they all gave me tickets. They're my boys. They watch out for me.
Koz: Coming back this summer?
Barnes; This is my home. I'm building a house here.
Tank: You might be here next year.
Barnes: I sure hope so.
Koz: This guy did a lot for the Kings. That's why he's known as SacTown's Finest.
They're sahying Webber will be out in a couple of minutes.
Sorry if that's disjointed. They cut from Adelman's media talk to Matt, talking to Tank and Koz. It's really clear that Matt Barnes would absolutely LOVE to come back.
Brad and his girl-friend are standing on the court, talking to Bradley.
Now they're talking about how the ovation for Webber affected the Kings. Tank said they were excited and happy that the fans were so appreciative of Webb. He also said that Kenny and Skinner were both out to show JOB what he had missed out on. He said Kenny actually looked over at O'Brien a couple of times after good plays, to say "See what you missed?"

I talked to Mike and he said he'd come pick me up and I thought, DAMN, we are going to play those guys.
I want to keep these memories of Sacramento. I'm not gonna play mind games or anything. I loved my time here...
He says he'll still be friends with the guys on the Kings when they can't even walk any longer. Their families, their friends, etc.
He still looks totally humbled. Said he took AI, Matt and some of the guys out for a while to visit friends.

Barnes still standing around talking to his family and friends. They just said the 76ers are flying out tonight because the travel plans were made a long time ago. They're leaving for Phoenix in a little while. Luckily, they are pretty close to the airport.
Peja (asked how it felt to see Webber): Same feeling I had when I saw Vlade standing in a Lakers uniform. We had 6 1/2 years together. We have feelings. Once you start playing, however, he's on the other team and you have to move on. Playing along side him for so long, and now playing against him, it was different. We're professionals. We understand that.
What about the next 10 games? I don't know. 5th or 6th.
How do you feel? I feel much better. I feel better about my shot. It is gonna take some time. We're still learning each other. The team is getting better at moving the ball...

I really hope Barnes come back to the Kings too!! He sound like he wants to. I hope he does! I'm glad Tank said "we want you back" cause we really do!
