I've tried my friend. Both before he came here and after. No amount of assists, rebounds, steals, or highlight reel plays will be enough. Some people just have a real distaste for Rondo and only see the mistakes. I'm unclear at this point though whether Isaiah Thomas has anything to do with it or not. He seemed to stir up a similar reaction when he was here and the coded words people use about Rondo -- "can't shoot" and "lazy" -- both sound a lot like "he's not IT".
