During the season, you go to any "prominent" downtown restaurant on a Friday or Saturday night and you are likely to see a Kings player.

(I'm not sure whether to post this here or in the general sports talk...I guess this is a little trivial to have here, but since there isn't all that much going on because it is the beginning of the offseason, i thought i may as well put it here... i wont be 100% suprised if someone moves it somewhere else.)
What I meant by "Kings Encounters" is whether anyone has met any of the Kings and if they said any cool things. It's more of a personal thread instead of about the organization itself.
I'm asking primarily because
I JUST MET BOBBY JACKSON!!!!
I was so freakin' excited.....(he was deffinetly taller in person). It was at the Roseville Best Buy across from The Galeria, and evidentally he's there alot, cause the manager said he's their biggest DVD buyer. I shook his hand and just wished him luck this next season, and that he was my favorite player....ya

I think we already have a thread about this in the lounge but thats pretty cool. i actually have a picture with Bobby Jackson with him myself! I was at an autograph session and I got a pic with him. i also got a autograph of Cuttino Mobley and i also got a picture of him with me as well.

A few years ago, I think in the summer of 02 my friends and I were at Cabos restaurant in Granite Bay, and we looked over and saw a very tall man walking towards us. To our delight it was C-Webb!!! I didn't know what to do and neither did my friends, we just kept looking at him and he gave us his smile and flashed us a peace sign as he walked by us. It was definately the best sighting I have had, better than Jerry Rice, better than Pete Sampras, heck even better than Jordan.

I have met both Mike Bibby and Chris Webber. Mike I met at the Gamestop in Arden Fair Mall...he was super super sweet and even signed the sweater I was wearing at the time...And C-Webb I met when I was getting gas at the Arco station near Arco Arena...he was also incredibly nice..of course..and he signed an old program from a Kings game I had gone to months before which I gave to my brother (huge CWebb fan!) who was ecstatic to say the least...Anyway...these chance meetings have only strengthened my love for my Sacramento Kings..they are simply a talented, great group of athletes who I have a tremendous amount of admiration and respect for. I wish every Kings fan could have the chance to meet them too..

it sounds like you can be anywhere in Sac and meet a King, is it that small there? A lot of celebs live in Atlanta but I've never met any of them. I could do some serious stalking if I was in Sac.
