The NBA released the schedule for the 2007 NBA Summer League presented by Adidas, which runs from July 6-15 at the COX Pavilion (COX) and the Thomas & Mack Center (T&M) on the campus of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

The 2007 NBA Summer League includes entries from 21 NBA teams as well as the Chinese National Team. This year's new format features a 55-game schedule over a 10-day span in which the Kings will play five games.

July, 7 Kings vs. Chinese National Team - 7:00 PM COX
July 10 Kings vs. Washington Wizards - 1:00 PM COX
July 12 Kings vs. New York Knicks - 7:00 PM COX
July 14 Kings vs. Houston Rockets - 5:30 PM T&M
July 15 Kings vs. Los Angeles Clippers - 7:30 PM T&M

Rooms in Las Vegas in July are cheap. I got a room at Hooters, a mile walk away, for $55!! AmeriSuites is across the street from both Cox and T&M and is similar up to about $75 (and includes free breakfast) and it shares a parking lot with the Hofbrauhaus, the german beer hall.

if people are gunna be at these games id be cool if you guys could write up somethin on them, obv living in massachusetts I wont get much info on the summer league.. maybe some grades like we do for reg season, anything wuld be appreciated

You're in luck, MKF. CruzDude usually writes up great stuff about the Vegas games. Not grades, but a combination of play summary and opinions. Something to look forward to...

:)

Why wouldn't he play for China? The Chinese National Team would consist of Yi and Yao and whomever else, right?

Hope to see Jason Smith vs Yi, and knowing that both will be on the Kings roster come fall ;)

Edit: and Justin Williams vs. Yao

I'll be at the Vegas Summer League games 2 and 3 this year to get a first hand look at what Kings are checking out. I'll try to get game time reports back: it all depends on them having wireless internet in the two arenas, otherwise I have to wait to get back to hotel.

Kings generally publish the summer league roster about a week before or about the first of July this year. So will be interesting for sure.

the last few years the kings have had University of Pacific's (stockton, ca) best player on their summer league team, it was something i looked forward to, but this past year, there is nobody worthy :(

hmm, if some are on nbaTV..
i get league pass every year, do any of you gusy know if any of these games be included with that

Traditionally, ESPN2 will have 4-6 day games broadcast during the week. But so far no word. NBA-TV has had some highlights in past but I lost Direct TV in last move and am stuck with Comcast down here in Surf City and NO NBA-TV and NO NBA package. So I am about to enter severe withdrawal................
