Kings release 4 from summer league roster

Kings Summer league roster now down to 14 with the announced cuts of Darnell Jones, Lawrence Roberts, David Johnson and Zabian Dowdell.

Will provide more manageable roster now. Would fully expect 1-3 more are dropped in next 2 games based on past years in summer league.

BTW the free agent summer league roster guys not under contract, have only their expenses covered for the summer league: per diem including hotel and meals and maybe a few bucks for cabs and such. But no salaries unless they get under contract.

Roberts and Dowdell? Questionable at this point in time, but then again it's only summer league.

That was 3 guards and one SF/PF. Two of the guards were from very small schools, Napa CC and Mesa College. So those 4 of no real surprise.
