Honestly, if Fox didn't have bad body language this season 80% of fans would probably still be unwilling to trade him.

I dare say the whole NBA record playoff drought thing looming and coinciding with Fox's first year on a max deal also has something to do with fan "impatience"

I think this is a pretty good read on Hali. He's an elevator, enhances your other star players, but he's not someone you build your team around. A lot of similarities between him and early Lonzo.

we wouldn’t trade Fox. Same brain trust that wouldn’t move Harrison Barnes for Nesmith and Boston’s first. A trade that would have netted us the 7th lotto spot which became Scottie Barnes who just kicked our ass.

Feels like we're ignoring the forest fire for the trees when it comes to this though since I feel like the only guy who doesn't have terrible body language on the Kings is Vivek Ranadive.

Definitely shouldn't be looking for him to give you 20 points a game. Nobody is double teaming a Tyrese Haliburton iso. Maybe more like (old) Iguodala-lite at this point, minus the defense. Great glue guy who will look amazing on an already well-oiled team. Doesn't look great when he passes up open shots and layups to try for assists to bench role-playing bigs.
