Kings Playoff Standings Watch!!!

Does anyone think Denver is trying to lose so they will not face the suns in the playoffs?
Doubtful. As Barkley said the other week, the Grizz were actually the favorite until their injuries, and somewhat agree although the Kings date with the Bucks is now destiny. Frankenstein must pay.....secret weapon Len's gonna foul out Kung-Fu style as Hockey goon.

not so sure. I’m okay with the Suns/Clippers in the 4/5 slot playing Denver.
There are 2 teams I really hope the Kings play in the Playoffs: Warriors and Clippers......Kings are particularly energized for them 2.....Dallas and Grizz would be 2nd choices. Chances are good they'll play one of them at least.

Probably Suns get Durant back and they're gonna be the team to beat. The Nuggets always find a way to lose it seems like.

I'm not wanting to duck teams or match up with teams but I think I'd pass on asking for the Dubs. Do I think we can beat them? Yes. They also won the chip last year after being left for dead.

I don’t care who we slot up against. I think we are that good.
Agreed. I hear the talk about defense and I get it. But this Kings team has the best offensive rating in the history of the game. What team would want to take their chances against that in a 7 game series?

No team would say our offense is ok, so I can't wait to play against the best defense in the history of the NBA.

I don't know what's going on with them, but I've watched them play a bit lately and they look uninspired, and Malone looks frustrated. I think we have the better coach. And loved Malone. I've got a feeling about this team. We are legit one of the best teams in the NBA in the last 50 games.

Blazers season has blown a tire. They are 9 games under .500. Time to sit Dame and take one more crack at the lottery.
word is he is being shut down as soon as they are officially eliminated. They won't sit him out of respect to him, he wants to win... tough place to be but it really hasn't seem to have mattered lately. Hopefully they can fire Billups and the new mascot and get a nice piece in draft but they really need to unload some dead weight too.

They have some talent but it’s hard to imagine how they turn it around next year without some lottery help. Sharpe isn’t going to be ready next year but should be better. Have to make a decision on some unrestricted and restricted free agents. The West is full of teams that will maintain their status and some teams that are ascending like OKC. Tough path for Dame I’d say.

Yep, it's not good. I don't think their GM is particularly savvy and the ownership situation is a nightmare too.

Was waiting for this for a long time. Another one bites the dust.

Given the huge disparity between the top 13 and the bottom two in the west, was a long time since we went past the mathematical reach of another team, but now it should happen very rapidly. 2 more, and we are guaranteed a play-in, which was a goal at the beginning of the season for many of us. 4 more after that, and we officially make the POs baby!

There will be celebrations in Kings land pretty soon, hopefully by this time next week. Tomorrow's victory against Utah, for example, brings our magic number against them down to 1,

Love seeing this thread every day :)

it's been time for Dame to depart, Portland needs to do him a service here

Looks like the bottom 4 teams are likely to knock themselves out, most play each other at least once, and I see the Clippers and Utah on a lot of their schedules as well.

He may not want to go but Portland will eventually have to commit to a full rebuild and the sooner, the better
He's top 3 and probably #1 amongst most living/active fans here all time Blazer which really complicates things.

I'm not saying your wrong, but if he wants to be here it's the same as we had with Boogie, except the dude is beloved by 100% of the fan base.

They should fire Billups and let the new crazy methhead bigfoot mascot coach out the rest of the season for pingpong balls.

Boogie wanted to be here and we saw the business side of things. However, Boogie couldn't control himself on the court and I think that was the final straw for Vlade. I'd love to see Dame be in the rare company of a Dirk, Kobe, Reggie, Udonis as players that played for only one franchise.
