So now that the Kings are the Hottest team in the West going into the All-Star break are we thinking CHAMPIONSHIP? LOL!

You actually have to squint hard ot find 12 wins in there, but realistically at this point we're again entering the territory where if we fall a few games short of that that's good for the draft, and what's good for the draft could be good for our future.

P.S. Just realized you forgot the rest of the games in Feb:

Tue 16 vs Boston
Wed 17 @ Golden State
Sat 20 @ LA Clippers
Sun 21 @ Phoenix
Tue 23 vs Detroit
Fri 26 vs Utah
Sun 28 vs LA Clippers

Which gives us more hope wiht at least 4 winnable games in there.

as sad as it its you have to think playoff teams will start to rest their core alot more mins soon.

Not THIS soon. Maybe in those April games, but maybe not even then given that San Antonio, Portland, and Houston are right now the #7, #8 and #9 teams, so they might well still be jockeying. Dallas is #4 and will be after homecourt. Lakers will probably be coasting in the closer at least.

I knew it looked like too few games. So that gives us 11 games against teams >.500 (right now) and 6 of those on the road. 14 overall road games.

Wacky things seem to happen after the All-Star break, but I think maybe 9 or 10 is a reachable.

Good call. That's what I was predicting before the start of the season. I'll take the +13 game improvement. The coaches and players now have about a week to relax and focus on what they got to do to improve after the break. Hopefully they can do some spoiling at the end. :p Petrie: work some magic. ;)
