who's to say that wasn't youngster development?

You play like crap? You don't play. You want to play? Man up. Convincing Willie to bring it every time he's on court might have been the most important lesson you could teach him. With Willie it's not about skill development so much as it's about learning to compete.

I think the front office will be realistic enough to conclude making the playoffs without Rudy is not happening or without what he could have potentially returned in a trade. That will be tempered into any other moves made for the short term including moving Willie.

One thing about tonight is that there is NO defense being played. What does Willie do when the defense gets tough? As we have seen he wilts like a flower in the Mohave. But I do think this first half will boost his confidence and he needs a big boost of confidence to turn around his season and career.
