[Game] Kings @ Pelicans, 10/29/21 5pm Pacific 8pm Eastern

It wasn’t pretty, but this was a game we’d usually lose. We let a fairly bad Zion-less Pelicans team hang around at their home, but we closed the game out and cane out with the W. I’m becoming more and more optimistic about this season.

Wouldn’t being paid to broadcast games make him, in the most basic of terms, ‘professional’?

Yes, in the strictest sense of the word. The LOL crap is more unprofessional in a metaphorical kind of way. What's up with doing the broadcasts in the studio, anyway? Doesn't Vivek have enough money to send these guys on location? You've got fans in the stands now and national broadcasts on location so don't tell me the covid is to blame. These Kings' broadcasts continue to be weird and amateurish on so many levels.

as was discussed earlier in this thread, it’s an NBC sports thing. Vivek has no control over what NBC sports dos with its broadcasts. Every NBC sports broadcast crew is doing Away games remotely.

There’s no way NOLA’s clown show was better than our crew as uninspiring as everyone’s making them sound.

I am not a huge fan of Draper but he's fine, and this commentator team is definitely still one of the top in the league. So many of those old, bad homer commentators with dad jokes (Literally heard the Nets' Ian Eagle called it, "They want to chop Lamb!" in their game against Pacers) ours can't be as bad!

Also, don't forget the Sixers commentator...

Generally when you have 4 players scoring around 20 points, unless other players have wretched games, the offense is turning a good game. From the highlights, looks like pretty good shooting on the night with Pelicans not quite able to match. 96% on 26 FTAs is spectacular

Watching the rest of this final Quarter now on my DVR. The Kings look like a playoff time and I’m dead serious. Wow!

This felt like a Kangz game for me but for New Orleans. We go behind early, our 2nd unit hustles to bring it closer, then our 1st unit comes back in but the lead increases because their first unit is just simply better then us. Good win, our team was clearly better
No question about it! Go KINGS!!

Only got to watch the 4th and bits of the second but looked more of the same? Glad we pulled out the win. Didn’t see much coherent offense. D looked rough for spurts. Haliburton finding his way, seems like he is warming up. I think I’ll go back and watch the first half

I don't get the announcer hate around here. I'm enjoying them more than the previous guy, by far. And I personally LIKE Kayte going into a lot of detail. Both are a heck of a lot better than the announcer just saying " Bibby....Webber.....Vlade....BIBBY!" over and over again, ad nauseum. For years.

It may not be for everyone, and I'm not saying they are the best at it by any means, but I certainly don't get all the complaints. They've done 4 regular season games, and they aren't even in the building to watch them personally, they are just watching TV like us. I have a preference, obviously, but still didn't let it really get to me the way you guys seem to take it (almost personally!). Just chill and enjoy watching the game itself.

I don’t remember the last time we had the lead 5 games in a row late into the 4th quarter. This team definitely is doing something to at least get to this point in games. As long as they keep hovering close to .500 I can see them getting used being in close games to thicken them up later in the season
