Last two possessions basically ended with the two Kings “stars” backing down their opponent and attempting a shot from the paint. The Kings think they’re back in the 90s.

If we don’t, it’s gonna be a looong and disappointing season next year.

Better pray for a full off-season of shooting for Fox and Sabonis. Domas guilty of not shooting when he’s open as well. It’s like running the ball in the nfl. You gotta grind those 3 yards to keep the defense honest.

Kings currently shooting 29% from three while letting the Pels shoot 59% from the field.

Kings weren't a good 3-ball shooting team even before they traded 2 of their best 3 shooters. So, unfortunately, that 29% isn't a fluke and any "regression to the mean" won't represent much of an uptick.

Definitely need to pick up at least one rotation-level player, preferably two, who's above-average from 3.

At least now they can go into the summer and hopefully find the right coach. I've never seen a coach struggle with rotations to this degree. He finally played the top 5 man Fox, Donte, Lamb, Barnes, and Sabonis unit then almost immediately pulled Sabonis. And this defensive coordinator doubles down on what never works. They let them eat them on pick and roll early then does the only thing they are worse at, doubling. Smh.

analytics don’t back up that assertion. He isn’t a defensive anchor but has generally played average or better defense.

And when they've let him switch and play up he's been good. You can't play pick and roll in any other way than up and aggressive into the play. At least early, easy shots for the other team early is too hard to shut off late.

Kings fans: The Kings should lose games so they have a high pick to pair with Fox and Sabonis.
Also Kings fans: The Kings losing games means we're DOOMED!

Don't find the right coach or pull another drag the other guy any further and history will repeat. Bobby Jackson is ready Vivek.

Sabonis has shown himself to be surprisingly good hedging and switching, which we were doing perhaps too much before trading for him but are now doing frustratingly little now that we have someone who can.

If Kings want to win, move Fox to the bench. Double down on defense and let Domas grind out wins.

Incredible tanking job by Gentry

Gentry just doing his part to ensure we don't make the postseason and initiate the incentive condition in his contract that would guarantee him the head coaching job next season. What a guy!
