Nice we need his post scoring and leadership in the second unit. Gonna make a big difference depth wise once he's fully fit. We have a pretty versatile frontline in Gay, JT, Cousins, Williams, Landry, Acy, Gray, with the obvious void of shot blocking.

That's an interesting thought.
I can't see any way that Landry would be available in a trade unless he was the only thing stopping a really good deal to go through. He's Malone's guy and their first 'big-spending' move, so I just can't see him on the potential trading block.

With that said, I'd be more encouraged by the FO if indeed Landry could be part of a trade because it would show that the FO is open to anything that can bring in the right pieces to surround Cousins/Gay.
I should also note that I thought Landry was a really good bench player for the Warriors last year and I have no problems with him coming off the bench to provide some scoring punch. It's always been the cost and length of the contract which has been off-putting.

I doubt we trade Landry, unless we are getting a clear upgrade somewhere. Landry was signed to be a leader that the coach trusted and example of a true pro to the young guys, much the reason we have been linked to Andre Miller, this team doesn't need more youth, it needs guys that know how to get it done in this league day in day out.

It's great that you have shooters around post threat...if only the post player actually passed out of double teams.
Malone should definitely stagger Cousins and Landry, but every minute they play together defense becomes troublesome.
It made some sense to sign a known commodity for Malone, as it was clearly an intention to clear house completely, but JT played really good lately and compliment Cousins much better. Let's see what Landry brings to the table.
