Kings expectedly failed to start a winning streak in fear of ruining their hard earned reputation as natural born losers by losing at home to the fathers of Bambi and dropping to 10-31 for the season that at least for us reached the mid point. Kings also dropped to 7-14 at home. we are still 4th worst team in the NBA and to improve our position, we need a nice long losing streak. The game i Denver is a good opportunity to start one because it won't take huge effort.

It would have been better lo lose to Warriors and beat the Bucks but we never do things right. Game against the Wizards later this week is crucial and we need a solid lin there.
With 31 loss we are one away to be "officially" eliminated from the playoffs but the way we play they should just eliminate us from the NBA altogether.

Kings are 2-7 in January with 7 more "chances" to win another game or so. Both wins were "unlikely." In the last 3 games our defense has picked it up immensely limiting the opponents to 134 points per game. With point differential of -8.8 we are the worst in the NBA by almost 2 points. We are also last in the attendance. There is more but it is too depressing. At least - we have smart fans who know basketball and refuse to watch the garbage offered in the ARCO arena.

I want to go back one more time to the suffocating defense Kings have been playing recently. Just the other night Bucks were limited to 129 (average 98 PPG) points. We didn't let them score less than 30 in any quarter and in the 4th quarter Redd was eliminated and didn't score. In the first 3 quarters he only went for 44 which is twice his average and obviously a season high by 9 points. Unfortunately, while stopping Redd - our guys kinda forgot about Charlie V. As a team - Bucks couldn't eve shoot 60% from downtown (only 59%). All in all - how can You not want to play us every night.

Bucks have a Mikki Moore too. His name is Dan Gadzuric. He has been in the NBA for a while and I really don't know how and don't understand why. 7 years in the NBA he has never averaged more than 7.3 PPG and 8.3 RPG in his "allstar" season. His career average of 5.1 PPG and 4.7 RPG has brought him a contract that makes Mikki underpaid. He is a starter too. How is that possible ?

Bucks crushed us in the 1st quarter and never looked back. We came back, came close but never really had a chance. Other than not playing defense and turning the ball over we did great shooting 52% from the field, having 6 players in double figures and being even in the rebounding column. We also limited Redd to 44 points and prevented Mbah a Moute from a career high. Yes, I am aware how bad we suck.

AWARD TIME
Mbah a Moute won the TDM as it was expected because Kings surely don;t guard a player whose name they can;t pronounce. Only reason why he couldn't get the career high was the foul trouble
LW-VC went to Michael Redd because he didn';t score in the 4th quarter
RA&1 went to Dan Gadzuric who probably has his own award on some Bucks forum.
JHA went to Cisco despite the defensive effort. Too many missed shots and turnovers
Mikki - went to Mikki who did play and mmaged to foul twice in 4 minutes
SAR - Methuselah went to Bobby eho is still recovering from the 3ple overtime and will continue to do so until March
WTF of the game - Elston hit the three. He was 3-12 for the career in threes before that

Nuggets lost a close game today and they will be without Mello in aback to back situation. That is a scary proposition because it opens the opportunity for us to do something stupid like win the game. We had 3 days rest. Plenty of time for some pranks and if time allowed a practice or two. I expect us to have problems with their bigs but on the other hand they don't shoot to well and we can linit them to only 55-60%.

Nuggets are 27-15 and 16-6 at home. Mello doesn't play but Nene is on and so is Billups. The TDM award has 2 favorites - the former King and the infinite dunker. LW-VC had to go to J.R. Smith. I don't know why but I do have a funny feeling we might do something stupid in Denver.
