Kings Nicknames thread

I searched around the MB for a bit and couldn't find this in another thread.

What nicknames do you have for current Kings players? Official or unofficial. Feel free to give your reasoning for those unofficial nicknames

Me and my Kings fan buddies have a few unofficial nicknames for some current players.

Spencer Hawes - 'Silky' - cuz he's not a power big man yet, he's more finese. so he's 'silky'
Jason Thompson - 'The Truth' - when he was drafted the announcer said JT will be the best player from the draft 5 years from now. thats 'the truth'
Beno Udrih - 'Herp McGert' - my friend interned for the kings trainning staff for a year. he had to pick up player perscriptions from time to time. beno had a "special cream". hence 'Herp McGert'.


Too bad John Salmons is gone. His nicknames were 'Mr. Coast to Coast' and 'The Mavs Killa' cuz of the coast to coast layup he made to beat the Mavs last year.

Jason Thompson - Tommy Gun or T-34 ( battle tank that is)
Donte Greene - Mr. Greentensity or Agent orange (hes from syracuse so orange)
Spencer Hawes - Propaganda tower (dudes more politically active than... nvm) or El Presidente
Kevin Martin: Land Mine (cause when you step on a land mine... its explosive )
Francisco Garcia: King of Hearts (he plays with a hole lot of heart), Captain Ahab
nocioni: Iron Man cause hes so damn tough or Captain Barbell
kenny thomas: doubtful thomas (doubtful hell ever play again)
Beno Udrih: Slovenian Secret

Rashad: Mr. McCAN (if any one can mccan can)

Calvin booth: BOOT-h\booth cause hes gonna get the boot after this season plus hes going to the booth.... the unemployment booth

Kevin Martin - "Blue light special"
Beno - "Bean-o"
Garcia - "Captain Barbosa" (I don't really have a reason, it just fits)
Bobby Jackson - Bobby J or Bjax

Nobody else gets any nicknames, you have to be relevant to me to get one from me.

all i can say about some of those is ... ouch.

a lot of the players do have pretty universally accepted nicknames on more sites then just Kingsfans.

Spencer Hawes - "Hawesome" or "Hawespitality" Or just "Hawes"
Kevin Martin - "Speedracer", "A1", "KevMart", "Kmart", "Kevlar"
Calvin Booth - "The Creature"
Bobby Jackson - "Bjax", "BoJax"
Fransisco Garcia - "El Flaco" (the skinny)
Iki Diogu (from a blazers board lol) - "fee fi fo fum"
Rashad McCants - "McSelfish, McHappy"

I guess this is a good time to mention what I came across a month or two ago.

I was watching Star Wars A New Hope on TV a month or two ago. First time in a while for me, and I remember I always used to crack up when they got R2D2 to play the message and of course it said 'help me obi wan kenobi, your my only hope'. And then I think one of Lukes parents say " Oh, I wonder if the girl in the hologram is talking about Old Ben Kenobi"

How many people do you know with the name Ben Kenobi? Obviously thats who the hologram was talking about .. anyways, I will forever laugh at that part when I see it ..

Watching the kings game later that night, I started to call Bobby Jackson " Old Bob Jackson " in reference to that Star Wars scene, And now I find myself calling him that all the time...
