Kings need a few vets

Jordan Farmar and Richard Jefferson are now UFA. What is RJ thinking opting out of his contract?

Probably that he doesn't want to play for the Spurs anymore. Just turned 30, this is his best chance of getting another good-sized contract, and I think he'll get a nice offer from someone. Not anywhere near $15 million for this season, but I could see five year, $50 million for RJ. I wouldn't do it, but if someone wants a consolation prize (like the Knicks or the Nets or even the Mavs) after being losers in free agency, $10 million per for him isn't absolutely horrible.
