Kings @ Mavs Game Thread - Nov. 20

What I see is a team that isn't giving up and is learning from each and every mistake, due in great part to the coaching of Paul Westphal.

Quite frankly, I'm somewhat bemused by the people here who are already pointing fingers and calling names. This is a YOUNG team and they're bound to make mistakes. Expect too much too soon and you're simply setting yourself up for disappointment.

Just my two cents...

Don't get me wrong, I am very very proud of our team for keeping themselves in the game and playing hard. But even you must admit, there have been many many plays that caused us to have to hang around and not have the lead. I understand this is a young team and I can forgive a lot of the plays, but some of them are really just so stupid

we need him to be aggressive and need him to score when we get absolutely nothing from our center.

Makes sense. I just want him to get that killer instinct where he chooses to be score first guard. He's been a good PG today, but I'd rather him be THAT guy.

It's a newly instigated rule in the NBA "rulebook". Officials aren't allowed to call fouls on any team playing against the Kings, or will be fined $15000 by the league.

Credit us for hanging in there.. This game reminds me of last game, everytime we get close we make a few mistakes in a row and the leads gets passed 10 again. Hopefully we can buckle down on D and keep chipping away.

Too many mistakes and a pretty good EXPERIENCED Mavericks team. But they haven't given up ... and that really gives me hope for the future of this young team.
