Well it shoudl make you feel better that teams like the Red Wings appear on that list for 20 straight yhears of bad hockey before they abruptly in the late 80s turned into the Yankees of hockey.

Yeah I was gonna say that. The Red Wings have unbelievable scouts, and now they're basically good every single year regardless of all the veterans getting very close to retirement. Unlike the Yankees, they don't have to spend $200,000,000 on a roster
