The Sacramento Kings chose not to sign troubled forward Royce White for the remainder of the season after his second 10-day contract expired. White, who struggles with anxiety disorder and a fear of flying, signed with the Kings on March 6 and then spent time in the NBA Development League, starting four games for Reno and averaging 8.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 24.8 minutes. But when White joined the Kings, he played just nine minutes in three games before he was let go. A 2012 first-round draft pick by the Houston Rockets, White was critical of the Rockets' handling of his situation and in July was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers, who released him before the start of the current season.
