Tonight, of course, our Kings meet the Lakers. AND the Arco crowd will get a chance to welcome Vlade back. I'm thinking it will be a very long, enthusiastic ovation for him.

Tonight's PBP, as always, is brought to you because of the generosity and dedication of our board owner, Jeremy.

I have my beverage at hand; my snacks are within reach. THE purple slippers are on my feet; I'm wearing my Christie jersey; all my totems are in their proper alignment.

I'll be watching the game via TNT, so hopefully this stupid Pistons-Cavs game will be over before too much longer.

Now, get ready. They may not be THE rivals any longer, but they're still the Lakers!
