And, of course, Brooks is able to get right around IT. I can't complain about Isaiah's offense but he makes it way too easy on defense. They're shooting lights out from outside, he and the rest of the Kings absolutely MUST keep them honest when they drive inside. Interesting how IT is sitting way at the end of the bench, not even looking at what the coach is drawing up on the white board.

I would not suggest lobs to JT in crunch time.

What a crushing loss this looks like it's going to be. To a bunch of gunners, half of which won't be in an NBA rotation next season. You just can't leave shooters open over and over and over again.

He's disappointed with the last pass

Isaiah is really trying, but Brooks was still able to get past him. JT knocking the ball oob is the only thing that kept Brooks from scoring.

Come on, Kings. Play smart. You can do it.

You're going to single out IT tonight? Really? Really?

I am not going to swear, I am not going to curse, I am not going to point fingers. I am, instead, going to pour myself a snifter of brandy and enjoy the fire in the woodstove...and try to pretend this game didn't hurt way more than it should have.

Yeah so umm ... two things to look forward to this season - culture change and Ben McLemore. I don't know about you, but I want no part of a culture that loses to a bunch of no-name "scrubs" thrown together.

Rough game to swallow. While every perimeter took their lumps defensively, Ben got beat from start to finish. Absolutely ridiculous how open every player he guarded was tonight.

I honestly don't know what you do with him. He obviously can't handle big minutes. But if you pull him as a starter now, after all but saying "we cleared everyone out for you", you kill any ounce of confidence he has left.

At that moment, yes. I singled out IT. Why? Because that's what was happening at that moment on the screen. I'm not happy with the defense of any of the Kings but AT THAT MOMENT Brooks was able to get past IT way too easily more than once.

Ray was the better defender. But I understand the need to keep IT on the court for the offense. That doesn't mean I'm not going to point out the obvious. Sorry if that upsets your sensibilities. IT is not now and will not ever be a suitable defender. Tonight it mattered. Outside, everybody was being scored on but Farmar was shooting over IT like he wasn't even there. Inside, the Lakers were able to screen IT out way too many times.

Lakers were just hot as hell. A lot of the 3s were guarded and they went in.

On the bright side, the interior passing by the Kings was the best I've seen the entire year.
