There are more than numbers. Starting pg I should say. Clearly he can play in this league. But he's no starter. A starter has to be able to run an offense late in a game and not need salmons to come in to help him make entry passes.

He can't play point guard with Cousins, is the problem. Thomas gets the bulk of his assists off of penetration, and that's not an optimal circumstance for Cousins to be getting his touches.

Can't is a very strong word. He's done it effectively before. We haven't seen it as much this season to even judge.
