Kings interested in Monta Ellis?

Gerald Henderson is the only guy imo I would consider that's around Reke's level if Reke leaves

I question your ability to evaluate talent my friend. First you say Ibaka is a scrub and now Henderson is on Reke's level?

a). Ibaka was a complete and utter scrub during the whole playoffs once westbrook went down getting eaten alive by Gasol/Z-Bo and his "amazing defense" was him needing triple teams to stop ethier every time while getting eaten alive one on one.
b). Henderson is similar level to Reke, Reke is good but hes crazy overrated on this forum, Reke is better on offense Hendo is better on D the difference is not that wide apart I think your ability to evalute talent is terrible. It's not like team would be any worse with Henderson on there rather than Reke.

From March 12 onwards Hendo become a beast have a look he really stepped it up after like Reke having a injury filled season

Wow Henderson is the better defender, never heard that before. Maybe if the Kings actually used Reke like they did when he was a rookie, we'd be in a better postion now. This team could of easily won 30+ games, if the coach knew how to actually coach instead letting everybody get their shots.

How is it that after adding more pieces that we only amassed 3 more wins than Reke's rookie year, the coaching was just as bad, but the roster was terrible.

To this whole Monta Ellis thing, No No NO and another No, we need to get rid of some of the shoot first players on this team, not add another one.

Yeah, Hendo is SUPER underrated.

If the interest in Ellis is true, it means Vivek is in love with the Warriors system of having up to 4 shooters on the court at a time with just 1 big (David West/Bogut). Though the Warriors are showing some success sooner than expected, I truly feel that they are not a true championship contender by any means.

Also, I feel the Warriors are sort of the benefactors of the rookie advantage. What I mean by that is a lot of times a good rookie is able to play like a superstar in his rookie year because no one really expects it or they just don't have much videotape or experience against him. I feel the Warriors team as a whole is riding that advantage right now. Once teams get more experience and tape on their system, they will come back down to earth.

Ellis is not a long term solution and not an ideal 2nd or 3rd option.

If we want an undersized chucker, we already have Marcus, and he's also cheaper. I truly believe this is just a rumor, nothing more. We don't even know our next GM and coach, so it's impossible to know who we're going to target and what kind of team they want to build.
By the way, I also believe Reke will stay. So, these Ellis rumors don't worry me at all.

1) Because one series defines a player. I forgot that unwritten rule in basketball.

2) Wtf are you talking about. I also think Reke is overrated by many here, but Gerald fing Henderson? Really? He literally has nothing on Reke: Efficiency, potential, rebounding ,defense, playmaking ability.

Really Hendo like Reke is a really good two way player and always takes the other teams best player, in the last month or so of the season MJ asked Hendo to step it up for the Bobcats and he showed fantastic potential (not as much as Reke has off course), but right now they are on a similar level they are both talented two way players who has the ability to become All-Stars but have not.

I also agreed we ain't used Reke right but I was saying if Reke does leave getting Hendo another good team guy who can play off the ball as well as with it would be a nice pick up for the organisation.

1). Ibaka has been a scrub for 4 years its just playing with 3 superstars helped mask all his flaws

2). Henderson better athlete and defender, Reke does have more potential but right now they are on the same level of Good SG who could step up and become great, Henderson averaged something like 22ppg in the latter part of the season I remember reading.

he averaged 20.1 ppg over a sample size of 16 games in March and fell off again in April. encouraging, but really no reason to get ahead of oneself.

Not going to be terribly worried about this. We have about 20 owners, could have been any of them, at any level of decision making or lack thereof.

Speaking of the huge number of owners, does anyone know if a structure has been set up so each owner knows their role? Or what their roles are? It appears that Vivek is in charge, is everyone else like a minority owner that basically has to go along or do they get a vote of some kind?

Maybe it is just me, but it makes me think of a local company here that has something like 10 owners and it is really hard to change directions because apparently they all have to agree to new changes.

There always have been multiple owners with one owner, the Maloof family, being the managing partner. Apparently Ranadive will be the managing partner, which means he can do what he wishes without consultation if he wishes, and the three Jacobs brothers will rotate as vice managers/presidents and I am not clear what their role will be.
