Outlaw has hardly played and he cannot be traded this season because we picked him up off amnesty bid. The other 2 are a possibility and I think Hickson is more of a certainty.

Sam young could come off the bench and be a solid defensive presence. he is rumored to be available and i know we're trading big for small but its jj we're talking about here, how much value can he possibly have around the league?

I hate to break it to KF's, but this team is going NOWHERE the way they are now, with the personnel they have not REMOTELY developing the way they need to become competitive.

We DON'T have years to wait - Tyreke and DMC's extensions are just around the corner.
If the Kings don't start whiffing .500 ball, those guys might not stay in Sacto, so what point is some projected, never-approached "permanent solution" that includes constant losses with unsatisfied youngsters who leave the hapless organization because they can't get their **** together and put a cohesive unit (that includes both veteran and youth contributors)?

You would have overpaid for Young. He got traded already for the rights to some 2005 2nd round guy named Ricky Sanchez who is not even in the NBA.

agreed. Portland's making a move just to make one, and i dont think its going to help that sinking ship. Hell if thats all it would have taken to get wallace, we should have let portland take their pick from our garbage, we've got plenty to spare

It's funny, there's a bit of an Adelman thing going on with Nate, a few weeks ago folks were saying its become apparent he won't lead the team to the promised land and now everyone is like "Oh no, you sold out my homie Nate!" Wonder if we could get him.
