Kings In-Season Prediction Game!

"Promote" Adelmann to Petrie's staff, a front office position they call it.

Promote Elston Turner to head coach and let him turn the defensive demons loose, or else (to the players)

Have Skinner start and Miller off the bench. Make Skinner "The Sheriff of Dodge (the paint): no one in or out without his permission". Give him 10 games or so to show he deserves the promotion.

Point Guard needs to be a 8-10 assist guy if the point-center is relegated to bench duty. Not Bibby, he is a 2-guard. But so is Bonzi. So who can bring the ball up court every time, is a good dribbler, quick/fast, can distribute to the 3, 4 and 5 guys and can score?? Only two and maybe three guys fit that order: Cisco and Ronnie, both rookies, and Kevin. This one is a toughie.

Trade Peja while his value is high. Maybe he and one other for the Bulls' Chandler? Someone who can score 20 a night with 3's AND create his own shots.

Use Corliss more to break down the middle.

Now I'll leave work and have a stiff drink and think about this.

Tyson chandler's offensive game is non existant. Sounds like you're talking about Ben Gordon or hinrich, and believe me, john paxson isn't stupid.

Bibby or Watson or Mike James
Bonzi
Luol Deng or Pierce or S-Jack
SAR or Skinner or Bosh
Skinner or Brad or Cato

Get 1 or 2 more picks along with this years draft pick.

:)

I was wrong about Chandler, sorry. In 28min he grabs about 10 reb but only 5.6 pts. But the Bulls need a 20pt guy!!!! somehow.

I think rather than move Miller to the bench we should Start the following..

First off I believe Adleman will leave via being fired, or moved to another position.

Move Miller to PF, start Skinny boy at C, or vice versa. Move SAR to the bench because we know that the Bench sucks right now and SAR did well from the bench on other teams. Trade Peja for a SF, or SG. If it's a SG than move Bonzi to the bench. If it is a SF than start him. Get Bibby and his Team Dime hoodlums out of town. They are nothing but trouble. Trade him and Peja to NJ.

C-Skinner or Miller
PF-Skinner or Miller
SF-Richard Jefferson
SG-Wells
PG-Whoever we can get for Bibby/Peja via NJ, or 3 team deal.

I like that team more than this one lol.

Well as it stands we have no bench or defense. We have no bench because Adleman isn't using them correctly.

Move Skinner to start so we have D, and rebounding/blocks.

Trade Peja for whoever.. Jefferson is my dream player at that position here. RJ is young, can bang, rebound, and can score.

If we cannot trade Bibby than the rest remains the same.

Go use realgm tradecheck to make somethin work, than we can propose it to geoff:D

I've said it before, but every single one of our starters (minus Bonzi, and maybe SAR) is an excellent player, if given the right players around him...Without those pieces, they are nothing.

Bibby---Bibby needs a player to run a pick and roll with.

Bonzi---Just plays balls to the wall basketball whenever he's on the court...No complaints...He's a keeper.

Peja---Without a star down low to draw attention away from him, he is a very average player.

SAR---Needs to be paired with someone tough to hide his softness.

Miller---See above.

If we could get a solid/tough center (Peja for Magloire?) shift SAR to the 3, and Miller to the 4, I already like this team alot better.

PG---Bibby---
Has his pick and roll man with Brad.
SG---Bonzi---Keeps his current game up.
SF---SAR---Soft by PF standards, but move him to SF he'll seem rock-solid...Especially after Peja...Also can't ignore his best years came as a SF...Hmmm...
PF---Miller---Will continuously get beaten defensivly, but thats when...
C---Magloire---Steps in, and plays the role of big-tough center...Averages 1.6blks in only 30 minutes...Team that with Skinner, and you have a nice defensive tandem.

However, then we would need to aquire a sharpshooter to come off the bench...Eric Piatkowski.

So then we trade: Corliss/Sampson for Piatkowski/Harrington.

Chicago does it because: Corliss will just step into Harrington's role of stumpy-undersized PF, and they get a young prospect in Sampson...Maybe he develops, and becomes a nice backup for Chandler in the future.

So now we look like...

PG: Bibby/Hart/Price
SG: Wells/Piatkowski/Martin
SF: SAR/Cisco/Piatkowski
PF: Miller/Thomas/Harrington
C: Magloire/Skinner

I'll make Peja and KT to the Nuggets for Nene, Earl Watson and Lenard a prediction.

Then, a few more dream moves to follow it up:

Bibby and Miller to the Rockets for Yao, Sura and whatever change they want to get rid of to make the salaries match.

Bonzi's expiring deal to Atlanta for Josh Smith and Tony Delk (Kings might need to throw in a 1st Round pick)

2006-2007 Kings "team of the future":
PG: Earl Watson
SG: Francisco Garcia
SF: Josh Smith
PF: SAR
C: Yao
Bench: Hart, Sura, Martin, Nene, Skinner, Corliss

They tank the season, the Kings get Oden and I'm very happy.

Can I ask something? What the hell is Swift doing in your dream line-up? And Tinsley for that matter?

Sorry, I guess dream lineup was a bad word.

More like, somewhat realistic lineup that would NEVER happen.
