I watched almost every single sixer game last year, I'm talking 70 + games and I completely agree with everything in Captain Bill's post (which I think was taken from the realgm Kings site). Look, no matter what anyone says this move looks bad to me. Salmons was wildly inconsistant last year. Even when he got the nod to start and got consistant minutes suddenly he couldn't deliver anymore, not to mention all of the stuff he has shown flashes of being good at is nothing we need. It really surprises me that people who seem to break down every potential strength and weakness of every free agent around the league and how it fits with what the Kings need, are now putting their heads in the sand and failing to apply the same logic to this guy(who we signed for pretty much all of the MLE for god's sake). Considering the personel we have right now why even sign him at all? How does he address our needs? He doesn't even bring us those "special" skills we are losing in Bonzi. OK... you want to let Bonzi walk... he was asking for too much money, to many years... Fine. OK, I can get with that... but what the hell are you locking up this guy for multiple years when you have guys who can do exactly the same things and have already shown they can probably do them at a higher level?
