[KINGS] Comments that don't warrant their own thread (Redux)

The key will be if the bench performs at least at average NBA bench level, the Kings should be able to win more games than they lose.

I want to see coach Brown tighten up the rotation to a 9 (sometimes 10) man rotation, because we don’t have depth beyond that.

Seeing that we don’t have a NBA level viable backup small forward right now, the Kings may have to swing TD or Monk into back up minutes at the 3.

PF Barnes / Lyles
SF Murray / TD
C Sabonis / Holmes
SG Huerter / Monk
PG Fox / Mitchell

This is what we should have been doing in the first place, but it seems Brown is very hesitant to move Huerter down to the 3 or Murray down to the 4. With Okpala apparently out of the rotation, Brown has basically just been riding Murray/Barnes as much as humanely possible for minutes at the 3.

I'd like to see more Davion with Fox so we can get him out of the playmaking responsibility and more just focusing on being a finisher and locking up on defense. This team is more fluid than Brown is currently treating it with positions.

If Mark Jackson (instead of Mike Brown) had been selected as Kings Head Coach, we’d probably all be looking at Steve Nash’s availability with a whole lot more interest!

We know Monte wanted Simmons last season, so it might be a possibility. The floor spacing will leave something to be desired, but then it's not like Barnes has been giving us much since he has been shooting 11% from three. But Simmons does bring elite defense, elite playmaking, and elite handling for his size. Hell, at his peak he was averaging 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists per 36. I'd be for it if it got rid of both Barnes and Holmes.

Man, if all it takes for Ben Simmons now is the corpses of HB and Holmes go for it. Not like Sacramento has any other ways to spend their max level money. Worth the shot.

So if that rumor about the Nets talking to a Western conference team is true:

Phoenix Suns - No, not trading Cam for him and don't have enough salary
Portland Trail Blazers no don't have anyone
Utah Jazz Do they mean Lauri? Or Clarkson? Unlikely for a team supposedly tanking
San Antonio Spurs no don't have anyone
New Orleans Pelicans no don't have anyone they would trade
Denver Nuggets Don't have anyone that fits with enough contract
Oklahoma City Thunder tanking
Memphis Grizzlies Don't think so
Minnesota Timberwolves Have no room for him
Dallas Mavericks- maybe for Hardaway and some picks
Golden State Warriors no
Sacramento Kings maybe
Los Angeles Lakers no
Clippers no
Houston Rockets no room for him

anyone have an issue with these three? Should someone else I didn't pick be in the red?

Don’t know if we want a guy with well documented mental struggles to go to a team coached by the guy who effectively tortured his players with the Bucks to the point Larry Sanders actually quit basketball mid season.
