[KINGS] Comments that don't warrant their own thread (Redux)

Depends if Donte finds his old form. Last year, Monk was better no question, but Donte has history of being one of the elite role players in basketball on a title team. We started to see signs at the end of the season that he was getting his legs back. I imagine he'll be damn good in that GS system.

I didn't like the move to not offer him a QO. I mean Monte traded twice for that guy, and then just let him walk? Further, I know folks were eager to get rid of Bags. I also feel that he had to go. That said, I do believe he will have a reasonable career (just that it wasn't meant to be with us), but we possibly salvaged some value by trading for Donte. Seeing him just walk like that, and then go over to Warriors, was just a punch in the gut.

Let's see how the experiment plays out.

The 7akers have Lebron/AD/Westbrook + Damion Jones & Beverly. Do they have another player on their roster > G-League level? Note that the aforementioned group of players features 1 shooter who is also a bigman that plays in half the games. They are going to be trash. With the mix of personalities they have I actually think they are going to implode once the losses start piling up.

At the 1 hour 1 minute 30 sec ish mark, Domas’ strength and conditioning coach joined Duece and Mo to discuss his off-season program. If someone from here did this, hats off, excellent work.

Really, seems like hats off to Deuce and Mo for playing along so well.

Our identity on offense will be pace and space. If we take 80 shots per game at least 35 of those will be 3s. 40 might be tough to reach but if we are shooting 39-40% from 3 on 35 attempts that's doing ok.

Do u do any research before u construct your hopium?

Clips lead the league last yr in 3 pt percentage at 37.3%.
Clips lead the league in 2020 at 40.5% (covid)
Utah lead the league in 2019 at 38.3%
SA lead the league in 2018 at 38.9%

So essentially doing “ok” is morphing into one of the best three point shooting teams in history.

During the years cited above, Sac shot between 34% to 38% with most yrs hovering around 36%. You don’t respect margins enough. The jump from 34% last yr to 39% - 40% is 14.7%, a more than two sd jump.

Do you understand tongue in cheek? Of course it's better than just "ok". It would be phenomenal and we would be a fantastic team if that were to happen.

You take yourself WAY too seriously. Take an edible and chill.

I'm done with your sniping back and forth, and that means both of you. Take it PMs if you want to fight. This stuff is getting deleted from now on, with warnings.

I mean, those comments were when he was 17/18. Would you like me to keep a running diary of what my 17 year olds says and does, and I'd put him in the top 10% of maturity for kids that age.

The rookie class acquitted itself very well. Checked a few box scores and Banchero had a monster game, and Ivey/Duren had very strong games in their contest.

Sharpe had a good game against us, and Mathurian had a very solid stat line for Indiana with a +/- of +9 in a 7 point losing game. Eason had a solid game for the Rockets

Jabari also had a decent stat line though he didn't shoot too well.

Even more eager to see Keegan now.
