Yeah, Pedja should be better, but I still think Webb and Brad (esp. Webb) have trouble grabbing the boards on a nightly basis.
I edited my post But Brad and Webb are outrebounding San Antonio... are they a good rebounding frontcourt(SA)?

The secret is that Peja is not getting the Boards he needs to. Webb and Miller are fine.

Only thing I hate about Peja is not diving on the floor and grabbing loose balls. He is one of are players that is constantly on the move on more often then not he is not in a position to gab rebounds. When he is in a good position he either grabs it or is surrounded by Webb or Brad and they grab it.

Argggg. ..I absolutely hate to say it but K**e should be on that list, too.
Kobe hasnt expanded his game enough, IMHO to be put on that list...he gets alot of his stats by forcing the issue...he shoots like 8-19 every game

From what I am watching, they struggle. Sometimes stats can be deceptive, you know.

ok, sold....He's off the list. :D

Until Kobe does something to expand his game, and get his teammates more involved with something he brings from his own game, then he is just the same greedy player he always has been...except for the 2nd of LA's 3 titles in their 3-peat...he actually should watch those tapes over and over again of those playoffs, because if he played like THAT, he would be considered in the same light as Jordan and Robertson

Stats don't lie Heuge. They are slow as molases I'll give you that, they get beat to loose balls all the time. But both of them give good effort and have great hands... and they always make up for it by the end of the game. In clutch situations they get those rebounds...

I can agree with that.

Spurs starting front line is better rebounding than Kings... look at the stats more closely.
You counting this game?? lol. It's close either way... you get my point right?

Ehh.. I think they could rebound better, so in this case I probably get Heuge's point better, but this thread moves so fast I'm not sure what I get.

P.S. Duncan (16.0) + Nesterovic (12.7) > Webber (12.7) + Miller (11.8) by 4 rebounds per 48 minutes... Not really that close.

Per Game! There is a reason why people don't play as many minutes. If a guy avgs 3 rebs per 12 min off the bench he can automatically get 12 per 48?? I hate per 48 min stats they are so misleading! The way we can do better is to get Brad and Chris more help on the boards.

I disagree... they show effectiveness while on the court. If Webber/Miller must be on the court longer to get their rebounds, then Ostertag/Songaila are not. The Spurs are more effective rebounders... they are better.

In this case, per48 stats are not misleading (the way you mention) because these are starters who consistently get significant minutes.

It's not even the hole story.

Duncan (21.9 pts) + Rasho (5.4 pts) << Webber(21.5 pts) + Miller(14.3 pts)

Also

Duncan (2.5 apg) + Rasho (1 apg) << Webber(4.9 apg) + Miller(3.8 apg)

So? What's the point?

Right so per game would be a better way to judge.

lol agree to disagree I think... I just think it's sad the two most effective rebounders on our team are catching blame for rebounding thats all...

That's fine if you disagree, I just think it is a legitimate comment to say that the Kings two big guys can rebound better. If you think they are doing fine, you'll need better stats/evidence to back it up, in my opinion.

When we are losing our mind out there none of our bench players are called into the game to calm those guys down. Why Brad is still on the court after the stupid foul after foul? Anyway it's 4th Q now, let's pick our head up and play.

Nothing like bringing in the bench to "calm down" our veteran starters.

I gave you per game stats to back it up... But your right 24 rebounds in two games against one of the most athletic PF's in the league by C-Webb is completely unacceptable.

How comes Martin gets 0 and House 9 minutes ?

Based on what ?

My guess is:

1. Adelman is trying to get a feel for what House can do.
2. He is more comfortable with him bringing up the ball.
3. He is a quicker defender.

I don't think it's House that is really taking his minutes ... I think it's Mobley, and I don't really have an issue with that.

Go Wizards !
Go Raptors !
Go Pistons !
Go Jazz ! (higher cause)

Well Wizard sucked, Pistons were great and Raptors proved that pretty much everybody beats Wolves these days
