The Joerger Kings were nothing more than a gimmick offense that was unsustainable. This isn’t that.

In fairness, like a lot of the success of the Kings in the last year and a half those teams weren't at 100%. And also in fairness with De'Aaron balling like this it probably wouldn't have made a difference regardless! haha.

and it was 100 percent earned. No weird off night by the star, no crazy hot shooting night. Just defense and clutch baskets. When they play like this they can hang with nearly any team.

For the first time in a loooong time they are playing simple basketball that allows the stars of the team the opportunity to carry it to the finish line. Walton is now the players coach and not the concept guy and credit where credit is due, even he's now living up to his potential while using Gentry's concepts.

But gotta give it to Walton, he coached a really good game today, made good plays out of timeouts.

Also called timeouts at the best possible times.

Still would love to see less CoNo, but that is not gonna happen.
