Kings @ Celtics Game Discussion

I didnt see one for tonights game so I decided go ahead and make it.

Yay for me. This is the only time I get to see the kings live all year. They played well last night, but they played, and that could be a problem. Celtics are fresh and have a nice winning streak going, should be a tough game but Im excited to see them live.

I'll be there with my kmart Jersey/Green long sleeve shirt underneath and Celtics sweat pants .. gotta rep both teams :D

I'll take some pictures and put them up tomorrow .. I doubt people will care to see them but I like taking pictures of the games the kings play in boston, I got a nice photo album of every kings - boston game from the past 7 or so years .. pretty cool actually.

Its kind of wierd actually, Im absolutely nuetral when it comes to these two teams, Ive never been to california but for some odd reason Ive been attached to the kings ever since I started watching basketball .. If push came to shove, and the celtics played the kings for the NBA championship, I'd have to root for the Kings .. basically because the celtics have there titles ..

Thanks for doing the intro, MKF. I've never been to Boston, but when I first started following basketball some 45+ years ago, it was the Celtics I was drawn to. I was a rabid Boston fan for over 20 years, until the day the plane landed with the Sacramento Kings on board. I still root for the Celtics, though, as last year's playoffs and title game will attest. I even drew flak from some around here for actually rooting for the Lakers in the West so they could be totally humiliated by Boston in the title series. I was ecstatic when my evil plan came to fruition.

I really don't care about the outcome, I just want Spencer and JT to play heavy minutes. Is that too much to ask? Really?
 
Wow, Kevins feet were not set as he slide trying to guard Pierce - but 3rd foul called on Paul. Maybe he put his arm into Kev's grill a bit. Hey, we got the call and it's BIG.

Eddie House is killing us...and Brad Miller is shooting 3's instead of getting rebounds. Perfect. I wonder why we are the worst team in the league...
 
My favorite is when we let our opponents score 40 points in a quarter. That just goes to show hard work and effort in our part.
 
Well, you know....Petrie likes Bigs that shoot 3's. Rebounding is for philistines.


He also likes to draft Douby over Rondo.


My Kings wish....The Maloofs fire Petrie just before they sell the team to someone with deep pockets who has a love of basketball.

I dont think rondo would be the same player he is right now if he were drafted by us.. He has it pretty easy playing with 3 Hall of famers.
But still douby over rondo was a terrible pick for us.
